Description

Reproduction of a carbine, made of metal and wood, with an imitation of the loading and firing mechanism.

The Model 1866 was nicknamed "Yellow Boy" because of its "brass" receiver (it was actually made of bronze, called "gunmetal"). It was a lever-action repeating carbine that allowed multiple shots to be fired before reloading, discarding the used cartridge and replacing it with a new one using a lever attached to the trigger guard. That's why it's called a "repeat gun."
