MP40 Sub-Machine Gun
Description
We present a reproduction of a submachine gun, made of metal and plastic, with an imitation loading and firing mechanism, a removable magazine and an adjustable leather belt. The MP40 (Maschinenpistole 40) was developed by Heinrich Vollmer in 1940 with the aim of equipping German soldiers with an attack weapon. It used 32-round 9mm magazines and had an effective firing range of about 100-150 meters. It was a very reliable and economical weapon to manufacture. The assault pistol was widely used by Nazi German troops (usually officers, mechanized infantry and paratroopers) during World War II, a global military conflict in which most of the world's nations took part. By the end of the war, approximately 1,047,000 submachine guns had been produced, thousands of which were captured by the Red Army.
